Advertising

HeatSpec Guide does not show advertising today. It plans to carry display ads from Google AdSense to cover hosting and upkeep. When ads are switched on, this page and the privacy policy will say so, and the privacy policy will describe the cookies involved and how to opt out.

Affiliate links

There are no affiliate links on this site. Links out go to the ENERGY STAR dataset and the other official sources it cites, and HeatSpec Guide earns nothing when you click them. If affiliate programs are added later, this page will say so first and those links will be labelled and carry rel="sponsored".

Editorial independence

The figures on this site come only from the sources named on each page and on the methodology page. Advertisers and any affiliate partner have no say in what is published, which items get a page, how they are ranked or what is said about them, and they do not see pages before they go live. No one pays to be included, and nothing is removed or changed because of who advertises.

HeatSpec Guide is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the EPA, ENERGY STAR and the manufacturers whose equipment appears.
